Closet Envy

I am still living at home with my parents while I go to college.  I live about 20 minutes from school, so it’s only logical to save myself and my parent’s money by living at home, but I am constantly spending time in the city where my school is located. There is much more to do, my friends and boyfriend live there, and I study there many times during the week because of group projects and study group meetings.  Lately, I have been staying at my boyfriend’s house more than usual because it is easier than driving home late at night.  I pretty much live out of a suit case, which barely fits into his tiny room.  My cars a mess and I tend to lose clothing pieces and jewelry more often because of constantly moving back and forth between my house and his.  I’ve wanted to leave some of my clothes at his house but his closet is very small and already stuffed to the max with his own clothing.  So today I am dreaming about the gorgeous and lovely closet I will hopefully have someday because I decided to live at home and save my money!

I love the boutique feel of this closet and how clean it looks!

I want a vanity in my closet!  I put my makeup on before I get dressed so sometimes I find myself wondering what color eye shadow I should wear.  If I put my makeup on in my closet I could just look around real quick to figure out what clothing I was going to wear that day instead of having to get up and go to the closet.

A whole room made into a closet!

The over sized ottoman and the cabinetry are gorgeous in this room.

I will have a huge mirror in my closet, it's so glamorous!

Ways to Love

With Valentine's approaching I thought this was a great list of things to work on in any relationship. I will be printing it out and posting it up in my room, so I can be reminded of what I need to work on in my own relationships!

OOTD: Leopard Lady

Well this weekend was full of wedding events!  On Saturday morning, I went to my cousin's bridal shower and that evening I went to an engagement party for some of the sweetest friends.

The bridal shower was at a local boutique type restaurant and the brunch was amazing.  We had hash browns with meat and cheese mixed in that tasted delicious, fruit, and mimosas (the best part)!  My cousin looked adorable and received some great gifts!

For the engagement party, we ate at a local steakhouse.  Of course, I ordered chicken fried steak, my favorite!  The brides best friend decorated the tables with mason jars, yellow Gerber daisies, sunflowers, and pictures of the couple.  During the middle of the party, the couple stood up and told their engagement story.  I thought this was a good idea, and one day I hope to do this at my engagement party.  The party was so pretty, and we had such a great time!

I wore this outfit to the bridal shower and changed into something a little more casual for the engagement party.  I love the fun leopard print on this dress!  It has cute ruffled details on the bodice and a small cut out on the back.  It is great for going to an even that is a little nicer but can also be worn out with friends!

I got this Cachè purse as a Christmas present from my parents, and I just love all the rhinestones on it!  What girl doesn't love to add a little shine to their lives?

This is my baby Gus!  He just turned 7 months old, and he has stolen my heart!  He is very smart and extremely hyper.  My boyfriend and I are training him to become a hunting dog.  We will see how that goes!

What Time Is It?

So, I’ve been obsessing over Michael Kors watches lately, and they are just gorgeous!  I am in need of a gold watch, but I just don’t know if I can spend around $200 or more on one.  I might have too, though!
The rhinestone details in place of numbers on a few of these watches are so dazzling.  It’s such a cute and fun idea without losing the ability to use the second hand (to count patient’s heart beats in my case).  Big bulky chains are really in style right now, so of course I love the watch with the chain band!

Lucky for me Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!  I doubt I will be getting something this extravagant though.

Everyone's Allowed to Celebrate V-Day

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, less than a month away, and I’m pretty excited!  I can’t wait to get dressed up and go out with the one I adore!  Now, just because you don’t have that special someone in your life doesn’t mean you should stay home.  It’s a day about celebrating love, but there aren’t any rules saying you have to celebrate it with a significant other.  Get up and go out with the ones you love like friends or family!

So, it’s decided…time for us all to start looking for that perfect Valentine’s outfit!
I’m thinking something similar to this for my Valentine’s outfit!  I’ve just started wear bold red lip gloss and I’m loving it.  I wanted to make a statement with my lip gloss and keep my dress a little simplier than usual.  I hope you can find some inspiration in this outfit!
