Pinteresting Wednesday: Simplicity is the Sweetest

The simple things in life really are the sweetest.  I love the simplicity of fresh flowers.  The can add such and uplifting mood to any room.  Every time I walk by the floral section at the grocery store, I'm just dying to get a bouquet of flowers, but then I remember I'm a broke college kid that doesn't need to spend her money on something like flowers.  Unfortunately, I think food is more important.  When I graduate and get a "real" job, which I would like to say isn't far away, but a year is still pretty dang far, I'm going to either have a garden to cut pretty flowers out of or I will be spending an extra $5 to $10 to brighten up home!

What I love about these pictures are the different types of jars the flowers are placed in.  The lemons put on the outside of this pitcher add such a nice pop of color and interest to this arrangement.  It's also a nice way to display your gorgeous flowers in the kitchen.  Blue mason jars or even a milk pitcher are also lovely ways to show off those simple blooms.

Spring Break Day and Night Looks

I'm sorry I was MIA this week but my computer got a virus and it was out of commission for a couple of days.  I finally got it back and it's running great, thank goodness!

As promised, I will finish my spring break series even though it's a little late.  I won't be going on my vaca until Wednesday, so I am still looking for great ideas for my trip!  Tomorrow I am headed to the mall to get these adorable wedges!  I can hardly wait.  I put together a day and night look along with two different color blocking themes with these wedges as my main focus.

What will your statement piece be this spring or spring break?

Spring Break Swimsuits

Spring break is one week away!  I can't wait to have a break from school, and a little time to relax.  I wanted to dedicate this week to all those spring break needs.  Each day I will be posting little details that will make your spring break even better!

Swimsuits are an essential, even if you aren't going to the beach!  Hopefully, you will be hitting the hot tub, pool, or laying out.  Pastel colors are very popular this spring, especially mint green.  I love the unique aspects of these swimsuits.  Fringe is so fun and cute, and to mention, it going to be all the rage this swim season!  Another one of my favorites is the feminine retro suit.  I adore the 1950s feel of the demi top and the light pink color.  J.Crew is also having a sale on swimwear today, so this suit is 20% off!

I hope you have a great Tuesday and happy shopping!
